Freddie Wulf is a trans masculine artist making visceral & visual performance. He is interested in sensation, embodiment & self perception. His work is sex positive & draws from kink methodologies.
Freddie makes work that is both visceral & theatrical. Working with texture, vibration, speed/slowness, & culturally recognisable images – to create layers of meaning. Slowing things down, speeding them up or zooming in to see what’s revealed. Freddie is interested in the physicality of sound; creating feelings & atmospheres for an audience; the body as a site of change; images which bloom & transform; & the potential of (consensual, negotiated) touch in performance.
Freddie’s current research is in somatics, touch & sensation.
